Angelique has teamed up with Future Proof Building (fpb) to "Design today’s landscape for Tomorrows World". This unique Show home demonstrates a variety of Future-Proof options available to homeowners who are contemplating renovation.

Ángelique  is a qualified Landscape Architect and Gold Award Winner for The Manukau City Council "Meat & 2 Veg" garden is proud to be partnered with fpb. "We are continuously looking at innovative and new ways to design in a sustainable and economic way"  says Ángelique .

We support FPB’s principles and believe this is a great opportunity to encourage and teach people about the importance of their landscapes and gardens. Each landscape is unique and we will design around our clients’ needs foremost. With our knowledge and expertise we can incorporate necessary elements essential for the long term benefits of our environment.

The fpb Ellerslie show home is a great example of working with our clients’ needs, while we still work with and care for the environment. Not many people will be aware but our own backyards make up approximately 80% of our natural forest types. We have about 6 different forest types in Auckland, which include Native bush remnants, re-vegetation, man-made, exotic woodlands, parks & historic homes. When you know this, it is easy to understand why our back gardens are so important for our future generations. That is why we are here to “design today’s landscapes for tomorrow’s world”.

The completed home includes a second storey, fabulously upgraded throughout with the latest technology, water harvesting techniques, Low voltage and LED lights, and enhanced living areas. “The idea was to take a typical kiwi weatherboard home and inspire people as to what they can achieve. Like many older homes in NZ this one has no insulation, bad electrical wiring, plumbing, and rotting weatherboards”, Ian Watt, National TSH Sales Manager. Visitors will learn what can be done to renovate a home of yesterday to meet today’s lifestyle expectations, while protecting the design integrity of the original home.
